As we know, Jason Bourne is not over and done with. They want to reboot, remake, re-whatever-the-hell-they-call-it the franchise. To be fair, it’s not like they have any new ideas.
As we know, Matt Damon was Jason Bourne, and it worked. Fine, it dragged on a little, but that was it. Original creator, Robert Ludlum, wrote most of the 21 Bourne books, so there is still more to tell.
Now, rumours have been flying around Hollywood about who will be cast as the new Bourne. Now, all of this is rumour at the moment, but, to quote Zeglar: “It’s Hollywood, baby!”
According to TheInSneider, the inside scoop is that Zandaya’s name has kept popping up. Now, a number of outlets, including us, have started reposting the news.
Again, as we know, the whole ‘gender swap’ thing has been going on for a while. If you need an example, watch any major franchise movie from Disney in the past 10 years. So, having a female playing Bourne, it was only a matter of time.
I’m going to say this, but no one on planet Earth thinks this is a good idea. Out of all the actresses in Hollywood, they keep trying to push Zendaya, and no one likes it.
However, as I said, this is Hollywood. Even though everyone with an IQ over room temperature thinks this is a horrible idea, that means it’ll most likely happen.
