Modern cinema, eh? What a shitshow! Is it completely irredeemable, though? And is there anything, from now and from the past, you could live without? This debate asks:
What thing from cinema, and cinematic history, would you happily put in the trash now, forever?
Choose carefully, Outposters. Sure, we can have a visceral reaction to superhero fatigue right now and throw that whole genre away, but then you are saying you would never have another Batman movie ever again for all of eternity? Throw away Star Wars in a fit of pique because of what they have done with it, but it is gone forever and shall never have a chance of salvation.
