Netflix Has A New System For Choosing A Movie

We’ve all known, for a long time, how hard it is to choose a movie. You spend hours scrolling through Netflix, thinking ‘No, no, no…’ and end up watching The Office again instead.

The Last Movie Outpost helps. We give you weekend suggestions, but that might eventually become a thing of the past, yesterday’s method, because Netflix is looking to implement a newer system to make choosing a movie much easier.

Yes, instead of having to find things you think you would like, you can let your zodiac sign decide for you. Who said putting women in charge of things was bad?

I’ve had an exclusive look at this new system, and here are the results I just made up. I’m a Taurus, which means I’m full of bull. Here are the movies that Netflix has chosen for me:

  • War of the Worlds (2025)
  • Madam Web
  • Star Trek: Section 31
  • G20
  • Godfather 3
  • Cleaner
  • Snow White
  • Fear Street: Prom Queen

I’m pretty sure the rest of the guys from the Last Movie Outpost have been using this system for years. They all seem to get to watch cool movies, but I seem to end up watching ‘everything else’.

Being able to pick a movie based on whether Uranus is rising in the East could work. I mean, I read my horoscope every week. This week’s was:

You will eat crap, while you watch crap. The stranger you meet this week could lead to love or an STD. If you’re going to eat a cinema hot dog, don’t make eye contact with anyone while you deep throat it.

Your lucky numbers are between: 1 – 1,000,000

As I said, I’m so glad that we have women in the workforce now. Instead of choosing a movie based on my likes and previous viewing, I can choose it based on when I was born. At least horoscopes are good for knowing which women are single.

Women: What’s your horoscope?

Me: Dinosaur.

Woman: But that’s not real!

Me: None of them are real.
