SCOOBY-DOO Has His Daphne

Big news in the world of supernatural crime fighting Great Danes. Daphne has been cast for Scooby -Doo.

Mckenna Grace (Five Night’s a Freddy’s 2) has joined Netflix project as Daphne Blake.

The adventure will follow Daphne and her friend Shaggy at their final summer camp.

They will encounter a lonely, lost Great Dane puppy who may have witnessed a supernatural murder.

Teaming up with new kid Fred, and the bookish and pragmatic Velma, they will set out to solve the mystery and, in the process, lay the foundations of Mystery Inc.

Grace previously voiced the character in the 2020 animated film Scoob! This is a ‘modern reimagining’ in the Stranger Things vibe, because of course.

Eight episodes have been ordered. The series is created by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg (From, Citadel) along with executive producer Greg Berlanti.

Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Andre Nemec and Jeff Pinkner also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television.

Scooby-Doo will film it Atlanta and be released in 2027.

Now I think about it, what ind of name for a dog is Scooby-Doo? Who calls a dog that? Any why does nobody comment on the fact the dog can borderline talk, and seems to recognise the supernatural?

This whole thing falls apart the moment you think about it.
