A Few New Trailers To Feast Upon

Feast is a strong word, but there have been a number of new trailers to come out recently, so we thought we’d club them together for you to consume.

Final Destination: Bloodlines

This will be the sixth Final Destination movie because that dead horse isn’t going to flog itself. I think I gave up after the second one, but people still seem to consume this stuff. The blue ticks on Twitter cannot wait for this new movie.

Bloodlines stars Tony Todd, Brec Bassinger, Richard Harmon, Rya Khilstedt, Max Lloyd-Jones, April Telek and Anna Lore. Zach Lipobsky and Adam B. Stein direct.

There is no plot confirmed at the moment, but I’m guessing it’s the same as the others. Here is a teaser trailer.

Ash

This looks a little more interesting. At first, I thought it was going to be about Ash from Alien, like it was his replicant daughter or something, but no, the plot is:

A woman wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed. Her investigation into what happened sets in motion a terrifying chain of events.

Ash stars Eiza Gonzalez, Aaron Paul, Iko Uwais, Kate Elliot, Beulah Koale and Flying Louts, yes, that is his name. Lotus is directing and Jonni Remmler is writing. Here is a trailer.

Locked

Again, looking a little more interesting is Locked. It stars Flavour of the Month Bill Skarsgard and Anothy Hopkins. The plot is pretty simple:

Follows a thief who breaks into a luxury SUV, only to realize that he has slipped into a sophisticated and deadly trap.

Drunken Yoda pointed out that Dolus, the name of the car, is Latin for ‘deception’ or ‘trickery’. If only car thieves knew Latin. Check out the trailer.

Riff Raff

Last on the trailer list for today is Riff Raff. I’ll admit, I clicked on this for Bill Murray, the downside is Pete Townsend. Townsend is one of those ‘red flags’ for me, he’s not an actor, but just someone who’s famous for being famous.

The rest of the cast is very good though, you have Murray, Townsend, Ed Harris, Jennifer Coolidge, Gabrielle Union, Miles J. Harvey, Emanuela Postacchini, Lewis Pullman and P. J. Byrne. Dito Montiel directs and John Pollono writes. The story is:

A former criminal’s ordinary life, which is turned upside down when his old family shows up for a long-awaited reunion.

The trailer is more fun than it looks.
