Trailer: PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS

Predator: Killer of Killers is that secret Predator project that was bandied about by the rumor mill.

The Ani-Predator: Killer of Killers

Predator: Killer of Killers will be an animated science fiction anthology film. Think in terms of the Ani-Matrix. The trailer gives us glimpses of Predators fighting various opponents throughout history. It looks like we get some Vikings, some ninjas and even some World War II fighter pilots!

The film will be directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who previously directed the Predator film Prey (2022), where a native American woman played by Amber Midthunder had the ability to cool blood with herbs. I wonder if that came in handy in a fight against a Predator? Honestly, I don’t know. I stopped watching the movie at that point.

However, I have heard from numerous folks that Prey is actually a decent romp. I just generally feel that cooling someone’s blood would probably kill them before the Predator got to them via hypothermia. But that is just me…

Predator: Killer of Killers is written by Micho Robert Rutare. It is the sixth film of the Predator franchise…but the eighth installment overall. It sounds like the person who came up with that numbering system is unsure themselves as to which films in the series are actually good enough to be counted.

We can all agree, Predator is a classic. Predator 2 has its fans and is notable for Danny Glover’s giant pants. After that, opinions grow murky.

Predator: Killer of Killers will be viewable on Hulu June 6. Consider it an appetizer before the next live-action Predator movie, Badlands, which release November 7, in theaters apparently. One admires their optimism…

Check out the trailer below. It could be fun. Animation might be the way to go to freshen the franchise up. What do you think, Outposters?
