Good morning to all you lovely Outposters. How are you this Monday? Are you well? Still nursing that hangover? Did the doctor call about the rash? I hope it was good news.
Over this weekend, we had to give the Livestream a miss. Unfortunately, real life got in the way, as it sometimes does. I was volunteering at the local homeless shelter and passing out presents to orphans. I think Yoda was watching Disney movies and enjoying them or something.
Now that it’s Monday, the weekend is over. How was your weekend? Did you watch anything good? Did you watch anything bad?
I randomly ended up watching both of the Cocoon movies, with Wilfred Brimley and Steve Guttenberg. I haven’t seen them in an age, and they are still entertaining. Well, the first one is good; it was a Ron Howard movie.
Cocoon the Return was a ‘Hey, the first one made money’ cash grab. The sequel starts off with Bernie missing his dead wife and then a comical suicide attempt. It’s a way to set the tone of the movie. It was the Monday of a movie.
