Yes! The weekend is here. In the UK, it’s been Bonfire Night / Guy Fawkes Night, where we all set off fireworks because someone tried, and failed, to kill all politicians. I think it’s a thing because we are all annoyed that he failed. See V for Vendetta for the full story.
The weekend does mean time for watching some movies, though. Try some of these.
- Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift – Movie – A spin-off, but a rather good one.
- Jungle – Movie – With Daniel Radcliffe, and I cannot tell you a thing about it now.
- Near Dark – Movie – Kathryn Bigelow’s take on vampires, and underrated.
- Clarkson’s Farm – TV series – Season 5, I cannot comment, as I cannot stand Clarkson.
- Quantum of Solace – Movie – It was on TV, and Stark couldn’t find the remote.
- The Last House – Movie – The new one on Netflix with Greta Lee; forgettable.
- Untold: Vinnie Jones – TV series – About the ‘hard man’ of football who went on to become an ‘actor’.
- The Fast Show – TV series – Sketch comedy from the UK that is still very funny.
- The Shining – Movie – Cinematic pornography!

- X-Men: Apocalypse – Movie – Again, on TV, and I couldn’t be bothered to turn over.
- The Wizard (199) – Movie – According to Hawkzino a remake of Over the Top.
- Jackass: Best but Last – Movie – The boys doing what the boys do best, still fun.
- The Crawling Eye (1958) – Movie – A creature feature, and a fun one.
- The Invite – Movie – New from Olivia Wilde, and I couldn’t finish it; the characters are just awful!
- The End of Oak Street – Movie – Perfectly average dinosaur flick.
- A Complete Unknown – Movie – Basically a two-hour jam of great music.
That’s a good list for you to watch? What are you watching this weekend? I’m off to see Godzilla. #Roar
